Second Lineup Announcement: Special Talk/Pre-registration Start Date Announcement

We are pleased to announce that we will hold two Special Talks in Hitachi Social Innovation Forum 2019 TOKYO.
Inviting experts and specialists in various fields, we will introduce cases for resolving social issues and explore each approach.

Special Talk 1

Mr. Yoshinori Fujikawa, Associate Professor at Hitotsubashi University and a leading expert in Service Management (idea and academic field of new value creation beyond industries), and Mr. Ko Ishiyama, who utilizes AI to work on social issues such as super aging, will discuss the power of Service Innovation utilizing digital technology and AI to resolve complex social issues. They will also explore new opportunities for companies aiming at value creation for the future.

Mr. Naoki Ota, who was engaged in Society 5.0 strategy planning and local revitalization until 2017 as the former Special Advisor to Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications and is now involved in the cutting-edge social reform projects, and Mr. Takuya Sato, who is actively working on to resolve social issues in Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture by utilizing IT, will discuss the global trends and innovative cases of Civic Tech (initiatives to resolve issues through collaborative creation with citizens), aiming at improving people’s quality of life. They will also explore how to design sustainable society based on those global trends.
