Two-thirds of the world population is expected to live in the urban area by 2050.Urbanization raises issues such as lack of resources and space, congestion of traffic and people, increases in accidents and crime, and deterioration of public health. Meanwhile, many of the people living in urban areas constantly demand improvement of new value and quality of life (QoL).
To solve such problems and maintain a safer and more comfortable city, creating a system that can quickly respond to changes in the environment is urgently needed, such as elaborate "urban design."
In this session, we will discuss future urban design making full use of advanced technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

In this session, a panel of experts who are promoting the incorporation of sustainability into business will discuss how companies interact with these trends and introduce case studies of Hitachi.
